The truth is out there if you know where to find it. It's likely that very few, if any, retail investors would be able to enlighten you. But based on what I have seen, PEP11 has long been off the table for MEC, hence its "new investment mandate".

Retail investors have been kept in the dark, and we still are in the dark. I, probably like you, went into MEC solely for exposure to PEP11. If a time ever came that MEC intended to divest it oil and gas assets and investments, it should have made that intention clear to all of us. It didn't.

We all have good reason to feel aggrieved.
