In the third paragraph, Lappy, we concur a touch, although, what needs to be cut wouldn't be too concurred with.
I don't own any direct shares now but don't think GST on shares, would get any consideration, and don't agree with it at all. If they cut down on "wasteful government spending", they don't need to hit us with any outlandish new taxes.

Now Lappy, if it wasn't for John Howard's era, Labor wouldn't have had enough money to buy a second term.
If school leavers play their cards right, they will 'own property', or whatever other investment they feel as being suitable for them. Don't hamper their potential, by taking away incentives to getting ahead.
Regarding FBT.........who gets 'concessions'? FBT is a tax, not a handout.
