I think any shale deal will be done through a JV. As for suitors for TO, if it was to happen I would excpect it to be a company from a country with big energy needs, china, India, Japan etc
Woodside have enough commitments with there LNG projects. If it was anyone in Aus- STO makes the most sense due to joint assets in addition to their need for gas to supply LNG trains
