You really are wrong about this.
Firstly, the camera on the LRO was not the same camera as that on the Apollo missions.
Secondly, how high was the LRO when the images I posted were taken? (the answer may surprise you)
Thirdly, photographing the surface of the moon from lunar orbit is NOT the same as setting a camera to get a photo of the ground while also exposing the sky to capture stars. Stars are (comparitively) dim compared to the day time lunar surface.
Cameras aren't magic space demons. They use very well known physics and how they behave is very well understood by photographers. And mission planners.
