    Weird how the dust hangs around for a fairly long time though isn't it.

    Here's a simple task for you: calculate how long the dust should stay up under Earth's gravitational field (roughly 9.81m/s2).

    Then compare it to the Moon's gravitational field, which is about 1.63 m/s2

    Let us know which one gives the more likely answer.
