I wouldn't worry about what the Australian Politicians think of Malaysia. During the Sagas we had to go through none of them (Aust Politicians) ever tried to speak for us Lynas shareholders when we got stuck in the mess with Opposition Party. Really all they were thinking about is the free tax payer funded trip to KL, meet a few Opposition members then later on enjoy the great cuisine and shopping. I am also very doubtful that these politician using the tax money that we pay would be staying in 3 star hotels that's for sure.
The action by the government is understandable right now as its critical time for them as they head into battle for the General Election. Najib CAN NOT afford to win the election but have a REDUCED majority because his head will be on the chopping block.
