So you see better value in "exploiting" a low wage base economy - no matter how unstable - because right now the deliver the "goods" - a higher SP

And the SP is all that matters in investing - period

My understanding is that SP matters mostly in Trading - use the upside to generate wealth etc etc etc

My personal "yard stick" is : investing into our Australian market - creating jobs for our work-force in a safe and "sustainable" way and creating wealth.

Your scenario seems to point you to African nations - PNG - Cambodia and the Philipines

They seem to live up to your criteria - so why bother looking at aussie producers?
