They don't make things to last long because they need to keep their production going. I don't mind that if the prices come down to compensate for the shorter life span, but it doesn't happen that way. Things have short life span and prices going up.
A bit like our daily newspapers: price increase but no qualitative increase in its editorial content. Worse still, less pages.
