How many individuals left in Oz can successfully, irrefutably identify as 'First Nation" people anyway? Does it include people whose great, great grandparents may have at some point married someone who can claim to be a 'First Nations' individual? Can anyone really answer this?

And does it stop right there at a 'First Nation's Voice To Parliament'? If this isn't successful (which it won't be) where to from there? Does anyone think that it will end there? Or will it be an expensive, bureaucratic snowball running rampant through Australian society?

Will this entire exercise be nothing more than a chance for the Lydia Thorpe's of this world to further hiss and spit and wave the finger in front of decent citizens who really just want to get on with life (and who have done nothing wrong) and who want politics out of their lives as much as possible?

Talk about letting the genie out of the bottle.
