Pretty much the overwhelming basis of the "Stolen Generation" -
Most were welfare removals and there's been no proof ever posited in a court that withstood scrutiny that the govt was a racist, possbily genocidal, "Lets wipe the Abos off the planet" sort of Govt
But the lie persists for much the same reason...it touches on the underlying issues so ...phhhttt...so what if ain't really tuer...a wonderful fit-for-purpose narrative
