Virtually nil possibility but if a new idea came to the fore within the Newsat shell, maybe re-contract the LM satellite (major contributor) with a launch from a different provider, would you as a holder contribute more equity to get it off the ground?
"I accept 100 per cent responsibility for it and maybe there’s some breath of life where we can take the NewSat shell and inject some new space technology in to it such that the shareholders aren’t
wiped out. And our major shareholders have… many of our shareholders I speak to them every
day."
Could the phoenix rise from the ashes? I know just a pipe dream but I sure would be delighted to rub ExIm and Coface noses in it if a benefactor came along who wanted to take us along for the ride and we launched. At this time it would be more about principle than saving a $.
I would give a further contribution serious consideration. A future win from here would be the sweetest of all.
Before I'm laughed out of the place, I don't realistically think it is possible, just enjoying a little daydreaming.
