Well Stoeger took off fishing for a fortnight and Boart has gone up 22% during the period he has been away. Is there a correlation here :) I am starting to wonder if we should take up a collection and ask him to stay fishing. I do hope he caught some fish!

It is amazing that Boart ignored the rise in gold in recent times and has done this rise at a time when gold has fallen back from US$1380 to US$1323 as I write.

The latest ASIC short selling total for Boart is 46.4 million shares or 10.07% which is the highest figure for the 2014 calendar year. But with buyers so strong in volume in the last couple of days relative to the sellers I do think that we are looking at a peak of short selling. I suspect that much of the strong buying is coming from short sellers trying to get out.
