Looks like the selling is more attributable to broader market selling. I noticed that a lot of change in substantials today featured Bank of America / Merrill Lynch. Looks like the Americans are cashing in their A$ holdings and bringing some money back home. So its fundamental selling by the Americans as well as short selling IMO (saw the ASX short notices for yesterday and a lot of 10+% short sells in individual companies).
The weakening US$ (higher A$) should translate into continued commodity price increases (in US$ terms) near term...so I expect further increases in REE prices (in US$ terms).
