Well I have a big admission to make - when I saw DOW trading at 540 - I couldn't help myself - I have longed. I also bought some DOWR on the less than even chance that somehow this is all smoothed out with the market over the next couple of weeks. If Dow was to hit anywhere near TERP these will make a killing.
While I think this will turn out to be a disaster, the market will not know for sure for a couple of years. There will be a lot of shares trading from the non believers to the believers. There is always the chance that the deal will be off too - if guidance is reduced, which would leave DOW as a cashbox, but they could buy something else that I think is better - eventually if that occurred.
So I guess my long term sentiment is sell, but short term is buy.
