Yeah - I agree - the fact they are doing with with no due diligence demonstrates a very cavalier attitude to risk that adds the word reckless to strategically dumb IMO. Also what a mess if SPO downgrades their guidance again, with all that capital sitting around DOW will be in a weakened negotiating position as well. Maybe Shepherd should just downgrade guidance if he doesn't want this to go ahead, and then maybe upgrade guidance again later once his pay and bonuses are increased.
