I am very critical of Novonix at the moment (not from a financial perspective personally) but i will tell you this...
Mercedes new battery plant and first for them in the US is 2.5hrs down the rd from NVX Chattanooga and will be in production next year.
Merc have built or are building 9 battery plants around the world and have stated they will source materials from country of plant if possible.
Liveris solid connection with merc from his dow days (dyor on that one)

Lake are meeting with german officials in the near future.
NVX-Lake anode prototype later this year...
If dpmg really is the absolute best tech available atm, if lake is going to have the best lithium available, then that is something that a company like Mercedes is going to go for next year. They will want to better a Lucid or anyone else for that matter in EVERY way and can get away with producing an EV for the exclusive.
Seems like NVX need to change their colours to Black-Red-Gold
