The problem is that people are looking at other car manufacturers as competitors when really, which of those traditional ICE companies has their fingers in Solar, storage, battery production, robo taxis, auto pilot, SaaS, virtual power plant tech etc. The traditional auto makers are so far behind that its laughable and if they do start selling more EV's, they're cannibalising their own sales of ICE tech of which over the year they've amassed billions worth of patents for. It's like running a race trying to catch Tesla whilst constantly shooting yourself in the foot.

In any case, every car maker will need to accelerate and secure battery supplies and technology in the next 3 to 5 years and in a market filled with demand, you've got players like NVX ready to supply anode, cathode and electrolyte.
