No matter how we spin it, politics still boils down to identity. Those who identify with the upper/middle class (right) versus those who identify with the lower class (left).

When you zoom out, it all looks ridiculous. If reincarnation is real (the evidence supports it), then we've all lived lives as blacks, whites, asians, men and women, rich and poor. To identify with one particular group and say "that's my clan!" is just dumb. And to fight over it doesn't make any sense.
