It's frustrating but its market sentiment driving the price now. CPL appear to be continuing on schedule and building up reserves while progressing the BFS (due Dec??) and I am unsure as to what else management can do.
They have brought shares both as a PP and on market at vastly higher prices than we are currently. They have a lot of skin in the game and I am happy to ride out the daily fluctuations with them.
If you look back a few days there was tremendous closing volume and this has occurred several times before. The stock is being accumulated by a few and those that sell now may well regret it later on.
Once the panic selling drops off the buyers will be back and drive it back up, the ratio of sellers to buyers is misleading as most of the selling volume is above the traded price and is being used to spook people into selling too low.
None of my shares will hit the market below $3.50 and depending on the momentum that is generated when we approach $3.50 I may increase this further - I am planning on an average sell of > $4.00.
If you are a long term investor its best not to look at prices on a day like today.
