Normally, if the share price fell 40% before a key announcement was due the ASX would be compelled to query the company but they will look like bloody idiots (which they are) having already queried the company and starting this panic. Perhaps the ASX are the ones who should be queried.

Anyway re the long term uptrend - a close below 4.3 will break it. Normally stocks just don't fall 40% if up coming news is good. Thats why people are fearful so has it become a self fulfilling prophecy.
