Ok, had a read over a glass of wine.

To be included in ASX 100, we need to be top 100 by a 6 month average float-adjusted market cap. This is counting MC based on publicly traded shares, e.g. does not count the shares held by insiders or controlling investors.

I don't think there are too many shared held by insiders, so some other part of shares must be regarded as 'not publicly traded'. I wonder if it's the shares traded in the US (Mellon Bank)? By my back-of-the-envelope calculations, some 20-25% of our shares must be subtracted from the float-adjusted mc.
