LYC has dropped over 60% in a week, on no news. Vicious sell-off. And of course no speeding ticket on the way down. And once again, no announcement of support or reassurance from the company.
But why the sudden dump of ALK down 5c on the close?
This has been a brutal week for rare earth shares, after they looked like they were clambering off the bottom over the last 2-3 weeks. Didn't look like the classic pump-and-dump. The dump was too sudden - they usually try to keep the SP as high as possible while they dump - but both LYC and now ALK have had their SPs slammed.
Looks like a miserable Christmas for those who hold long and for the long term, as company believers. I hold both LYC and ALK...
