Craggiemore, located 12km from the Sickle openpit, now hosts a measured, indicated and inferred resource of 1.5 million tonnes at 1.6 grams per tonne gold for 77,000oz of contained gold.
A 760-hole reverse circulation and diamond drilling program increased the deposit’s resource substantially from the previous 390,000t at 3gpt gold for 38,000oz gold.
Perth-based Crescent poured its first gold from Sickle late last month and said the Craggiemore deposit will be the company’s second focus.
Reserves for the entire Laverton project includes 400,000 contained gold ounces, with the Craggiemore resource expected to supplement the estimate.
Crescent Gold’s stock was up 3.45% or 1c to 30c in late morning trade.
