yeah no. Less government intervention is better.
breaking up Woolworths will simply result in higher food costs due to less economies of scale. The margins super markets make are razor thin. Actually read the numbers, it’s the scale that allows them to operate on these thin margins that ultimately benefits the consumer. Profits are higher year on year simply due to immigration, ie more customers. That’s the governments doing.
Your idea sounds like something from a communist country stopping free market forces.
