land banking? For the most part WOW leases….. note the massive $8-10billion off the top of my head in long term lease liabilities. You’re a little mixed up here. Maybe look at region group who owns the assets.
Go shop at IGA or other independents if WOW/COLs super profits of a few bucks in every $100 is ripping you off. You’ll find those shops are more expensive simply because they lack economies of scale and didn’t invest billions in logistics like WOW to get food to you in the most efficient manner. Breaking up successful enterprise who are not ripping you off is akin to a socialist or communist state. Stop demonising success, these are not super profits.
