I don't think Woolworths is price gouging. They have shareholders like myself that are looking for dividends and the business to grow.
We've been in a inflationary environment and naturally prices need to go up to keep pace.
They continue to employ a lot of people, despite the checkouts being self service.
The staff from what I can see have been utilised in other areas like online pickers etc which weren't positions years ago!
