WOW is becoming like COL and especially QAN: woke.

It's none of WOW's business if shoppers decide that a book parrotting propaganda is rubbish, as some appear to have determined with this tome by a well known extremist.

If WOW doesn't understand that this can lead to a backlash, then it needs to get its head out of the sand.

Its managers need to read 'Daily Telegraph', 'Courier Mail', 'Herald Sun', 'The West', 'The Advertiser' and perhaps most of all 'The Australian' to understand why so many of us (including me) are going to vote 'no' to this divisive proposal that would set Australia back.

Maybe the Big W managers could ask their friends across the Tasman how something errily similar has gone over there.

I used to have WOW shares but won't invest in listed entities that decide to take leftie stances on social issues. WOW couldn't care less, I suppose.

WOW ought concentrate on delivering good value, a great range that's as much as possible always in stock and groundbreaking technology that helps shoppers (whether they visit a store or go online) rather than attacking genuine Big W consumers who don't like a book that's being sold by the Big W subsidiary.
