you do realise handling cash has its costs too? dealing with a daily float and having someone take it to the bank, security costs, insurance, paying someone to count it, slower register turn over (customers line up for longer, meaning some people may just choose not to shop), break ins/robbery, chance of miscounting etc, im keen for cash to disappear. the only ones that dont are cash only businesses and tradies not disclosing income to pay less tax.
