Luscombe should just fall on his sword now while the going is still ok. Can't blame the guy for having a crack at the hardware sector, it looks pretty damned attractive really, but you'd have to have deep pockets and nads of steel to take on Bunnings. Where else was he supposed to get his growth from? Personally, I think it's ego driven, as opposed to WES - I recently read Goyder say that they have a saying - "park your ego at the door". Maybe Luscombe should take a leaf from that book.
I wonder if he'll use this Friday to have another crack at running down WES / Coles, he seems to make a point of it whenever he's given a chance.
