All mineralisation to date has been within sheared ultramafics, interesting that visual gold in shale has been now logged in WDRC289. As they drill the shear zone along strike in a NNW direction the ultramific-sediment contact is present, this contact zone may be the fluid channel paths for the gold mineralisation and if the structures are present there will be a wow wow factor.

Once again in time, based on the location, geology, mineralisation style and assay results released to date the Wattle Dam deposit has the potential to host a gold resource similar or indeed substantially more than the mined Ghost Crab deposit (Newcrest 1996 resource 7.8Mt @ 4.7g/t Au for 1,2Moz Au) situated 34km to the north.

Ghost Crab has a surface expression of less than 500m along strike and a down plunge extent of 1500m, yes 1500m and is located within sheared-quartz veined gneiss/sediments and ultramafics. The gneiss/sediments are the host for the bulk of the Ghost Crab mineralisation, with mineralisation less than 1m in the upper parts and at depth 40m.

Wattle Dam is open in all directions and has similar mineralisation assemblages, incorporating biotite, chlorite, anthophyllite, silica.
