last I checked a cash deposit was losing at a rate of 5% pa, cash under the mattress was losing at 9% pa. Perhaps there are errors in my data set, but it was provided by the RBA. MGX really need to do something with that cash balance, if they've got nothing they should just return it back to the stakeholders and let them decide what to do with it.
