example: you place a sell order of 10000shares your order gets filled to 9980units then there was no trades for a day or two you want get rid of your remaining 20units amend order to highest bid which was 0.024 and your order is complete for only one brokerage fee.
it's sad that drags the share price down but as a seller you don't careless.
