The assumption in the above sentence being that a visit to London for a presentation requires an announcement. Not necessarily so.

Therefore a cancellation of a presentation by Mr. Wetherall without a replacement certainly does lend an air of mystery. The explanation may be fairly benign, then again, it may not.

As you say, 'patience people'. But patience without an air of expectation and 'mystery' is a fairly dry affair and while I'm here for financial gain I intend to enjoy the journey.
