what a joke- the new system is estimated to cost 500 million a year. the discount is between 20 cents and $2 per product.
it ONLY applies to 500 products and only at participating stores.
the ticket labels will have three colors now-red, yellow and orange to signify everyday low prices, promotional specials and the "rewards" qualifiers.
it will cost many millions just to make the change with the new cards and the like to be sent to all existing cardholders.
then we have the perceived customer dissatisfaction about losing the FF points, which seems widespread.
the Qantas FF only cost 60 million a year anyway.
i think they should wait for the new CEO instead of listening to yesterday"s hero-the ill fated Mr O'brien.
