i only have been to Aldi a couple of times just for the novelty items, but i paid cash ,as the check out isles make you feel as though you are holding people up in a long line.
anyway, i did not realize that you pay extra for credit card payment, but that sort of behavior wouldn't surprise as they are not blessed with aussie values of fair play and decency.
also, plastic bags which i use as bin liners are a big issue for me.
i often wonder if the people who shop at Aldi have a basic grasp of simple maths and if their taste buds and perceived "eye" for quality are not somewhat convoluted by primitive, manic herd behavioral instincts.
