“Mr Dumbass Market” notices that WPL has been manifestly undervalued for some time.

just jumping in here to rant a bit but damn the flood of newspaper articles about “the fear over multi year high oil prices/inflation” etc is SOOO god damn rich.

POO is over 80 dollars and *still* WPL is a sub 30 dollar stock? At 80 a barrel years ago it would have been hanging around 32-35 dollars.

but putting that aside it’s all just so nauseous to read this garbage.
1) No investment in oil or gas in ages
2) people without a clue thinking we can just teleport to 100% renewables at the snap of a finger. Oh we can’t thars why there’s energy shortages worldwide.
3) perhaps as a result of the above 2 very simple Simon factors it might be worth noting WPL is stupidly undervalued in that scenario.

the OnG incumbents will be the ones who reap the rewards as there won’t be any new OnG companies beyond this point.

Even now the “market” is still wrong. This is not a 25 dollar stock. It should be 30+ given the massive chasm of energy shortage and prices that have NOT gone away and will only get worse given we are opening up after COVID again real shortly.
