Money aside it is nice to be finally vindicated. I first bought Woodside when oil prices turned negative. I then sold an investment property a few months ago and piled in around the $23 mark, only to watch it tumble.
I knew the world would need energy when it woke back up. How nice it is to be able to prove to family and friends that the Australian property market is not "the best" investment much like most believe.
Banks fully valued, money flowing out of Iron ore, oil prices at multi year highs and the TINA effect in full swing (There is no alternative) with investors forced to look for returns outside bank interest.
The market is starting to wake up to what that dividend in February will look like.
