WPL stucks at 22 disregarding movement of POO as if it is a non energy stock. Chief of reason is that deal with BHPP
striked in Aug. Both sides of advisory, investment bankers and lawyers are all paid with deal price, which was at time around
22 bucks, at percentage of deal value, 22X1.9 bil = 40 bil. This would mean WPL price will fluctuate around at 22 for
sometimes unless new capital inflow, like we saw in Q3. Otherwise, WPL will only shoot up if it can divest Scarborough upstream
equity or Sangomar project. But from Meg's investment brief, seems that WPL management is not in hurry doing so before
deal is voted by WPL shareholders. I suspect there will be no quick return here for existing shareholders even POO heads towards
100 USDPB.
