It doesn't matter. Unfortunately it is not the oil and LNG prices that are driving the share price. It's ESG investor activism that is weighing down the share price and spooking investors.
Even though oil and gas remain and will be essential for at least the next 10 years, investors are asking "How can hydrocarbon producer survive in a net zero world?".
Which is a very relevant question over a 10 year term, but doesn't make a lot of sense right now, when oil and LNG prices are sky-rocketing.
It doesn't matter. Unfortunately it is not the oil and LNG...
