There's some very powerful global players out there well connected to both sides.
Woodside long holders will undoubtedly be beneficiaries of a supply demand price spike.
Looking at live short positions in Woodside, .95 to 1.5% my guess is they are about to head for the exit. (After today it may be too late).
Also those that are well connected to U.A.E. and Saudi Aramco, may well be looking at diversification to further balance the play.
These are the best business people in the world and its old money. Lets see what plays out.
