At some stage there will either be corporate activity happening amongst the sector (mergers or acquisitions) or profits and dividends will rise to a level that they can’t be ignored. Companies like WPL, STO and OSH would be making some serious free cash flows at these oil and gas prices.

Because most of these companies holding 50yr assets are holding dead assets which will be heading to zero before they expire.
