Putin is not mad, he's a very smart thug. He's been loading up on gold and dumping the US dollar for the last two years. By invading Ukraine he's able to drive gold and energy higher, this will destroy the US economy because they are vulnerable to inflation, and buried in debt. His best mate is China and they want Taiwan. Europe needs Russian energy, so how will they sanction him? Putins actions while brutal, will elevate Russias economy and strengthen his relationship with China.
