It takes a war for the realisation of how critical oil and gas is for humanity to sustain this modern way of life. It takes a war to realise that renewables just don't cut it to defend oneself from the likes of Putin. It takes a war to fully understand the futility of renewables in mass manufacturing and being used in tanks, troop carriers, war planes, navy ships, drones, munitions and all the associated support infrastructure needed to drive all this. It takes a war for Woke governments to hypocritically urgently call on oil reserves to reduce costs and bring more oil into the world markets to keep society going and keep inflation in check. It takes self preservation to change the narrative in so far as the evils of oil companies that would dare to further explore for and produce oil. Thank goodness for the likes of Woodside, Origin and Santos and others who continue to invest in oil and gas after being bagged and often shamed for the past decade for doing what is needed for the preservation of society. Where would Australia be without them and so to the world. The real issue for supply in the future is the total lack of underinvestment in the oil exploration industry around the world. Where is the new supply going to come from over the next few decades.
