The announcement mentions the date of 1 January 2016. I want to know if this $350 million
agreement was made on that date. If so, how much oil had we found 7 months ago? prior to the SNE3-4 wells? also, the price of oil was low back then (from memory).
I think it's great that Woodside are on board, much better to deal with another Australian company and I liked the fact that they mentioned that they have an FPSO - this might enable us to save money in this area? maybe that's what FAR were doing in Singapore? looking at Woodsides FPSO? - that is assuming FAR management even knew about this, which I hope they did.
Today will be interesting. The SP shot up yesterday, and I want to know why. $2bbls is crazy. I want the drilling to resume, lets get more oil reserves in place, announce the 3D seismic, announce DJ and make the POO recover and hopefully the real value will be realised... because this valuation isn't good imo.
