I think some holders need to chill out. The effective date of the 1st Jan 2016 implies that is the contract date. There is another adjustment of $US80m for work done since then. The oil price was in freefall at that time. Oil prices have now arguably stabilised. So at that price FAR is 5.5 cps. But don't forget that at the effective date - it was not known if the drills would hit oil. You might think the $80m has created much more value than the cost with SNE 3, Bel 1 and SNE 4.

It would be nice if FAR management clarified the material details of the contract for us before trading starts , so that the market is fully aware of the valuation implications.
