thanks curiousone, I'm all for efficiencies and WPL being active in hydrogen.
My question was specifically more to climate change and what difference will that 1% CO2 reduction make to improving Australias climate. Will we have less intense bushfires? Will we have less flooding? Will we have less intense cyclones, will we have less intense heatwaves?
That appears to be the main platform held by greens and TEAL. I note that almost all the seats along the Brisbane River went Green and i expect because of the past and recent flooding. The constituents have been led to believe that the 1% reduction(or zero net carbon) will avoid or substantially reduce such events. I think they have been misled.
What do we gain from a climate perspective by reducing the global output by 1%?
