I'm glad to feel that way. IMO it's not a moral issue - it's about mitigating global warming without the light going off. Natural gas is a transitional requirement until renewables, nuclear energy (for firming/frequency control) and H2 (efficiently produced from surplus nuclear & renewable energy) as feedstock fill the gap. At the end of the game (hopefully) we all want a "green" solution (genuine C1 & C2 CO2 reductions - NOT "offset fiddles") that keeps the lights on and an acceptable price (i.e doesn't kill our economy). IMO C3 reduction are the liability of those that burn those fuels - it's not up to us to stop them but just make them international pariah's (and maybe penalise them with emissions taxes)
