could argue the WPL announcement confirms the low cost quality of the asset and it is a priority above others. how many others similar projects are moving forward under these conditions, investors may take note of that they still have to invest to make money
the JV is made up of not just the operator and so likely cairn is in a challenging place too and things are likely to change.
what FAR have not clarified is if they failure to meet a cash call in PSC I have seen elsewhere u do not get kicked out u just loose a pro rata % of your position. yes WPL in theory have the cash but the rest of the JV currently totalling 65%.
given the current climate will the Govt back in for its extra %
