I suppose the first inkling that FAR management are pursuing a capital raising would be a share consolidation. IMO they can't do a capital raising without a consolidation. The low is 0.8c so they would probably have to raise at 0.5 or 0.6c. Assuming no consolidation then a US $200M capital raising would require the issue of 55B shares at 0.6c or 66B shares at 0.05c. At the current NPV for 13.7% holding that would value each new FAR share at 1.37c assuming a raising at 0.006c or less than 1.2c if the raising takes place at 0.05c. And then oil would need to be trading at US $65/bbl or higher. Even if a raising takes place after a consolidation, todays shares would still be valued at the same price.
