Its a JV Rolla.
That means that everyone gets a vote via their WI.
I simply put it out there. I have said multiple times WPL need more WI to secure their tenure as operator.
I don't have any insight in to what % of the vote is required for a majority but in the normal world its 50% and a bit....which CNE and FAR have.
Fact remains nothing is going to happen in a hurry in Senegal until the China Virus has subsided.
Unfortunately African countries have a habit of cocking these things up so I expect it to go propper pearshaped in Africa in general.
If CNE and FAR had the choice between defaulting and losing the lot or delaying the project which would you prefer?
If the JV vote is 50%+ a bit CNE and FAR could remove WPL as operator.
